reader.me is a suite of 10 PDF tools that run 100% in your browser. The goal: make everyday PDF tasks (merge, split, compress, sign…) actually private — not as a marketing claim, but as a structural choice.

Built by Color Vivo and David Carrero, with a small open stack: Astro for the framework, React for interactive islands, PDF.js and pdf-lib for the heavy lifting. Everything ships from a single Cloudflare Pages deploy.

Phase 1 is the web build you're using now. Future phases will add a desktop app (for larger files and qualified signatures) and optional AI helpers, always behind an explicit opt-in.
